Short bio

Lori Layne knew she wanted to be a writer when she was a teen in High School. Raised in Toledo, Ohio, she started her adventurous life at an early age moving on to dog mushing long distance sports and then aviation. Her writings have been published in Home Front and christiandevotions.us. She is published with Winepress/Pleasant Word If I Only had an Angel. Lori currently resides in Michigan with her husband Timothy and her dog. She loves ministry work at Pilots for Christ and the Aviation Boot Camps that she has organized and participated in for over a decade. Her love of adventure inspired her to start writing books.

Christian Mystery writing is a true passion for me. I love story telling and mixing my life adventure stories with the mystery and mahiem that goes with murder!
  • Tell a good story and use all your senses to make it come alive!
  • Stick to your morals and values. Mine include little or no profanity. I am not a huge romantic writer unless it is to show the connected love between my main character and her husband.
  • Finally, but not last, keep the Lord in all you do. Make the glory and honor His, not yours.
